TailReport provides aircraft history and risk reports compiled from public government records. Reports are sold as-is for informational purposes. A TailReport is not a substitute for a pre-buy inspection, logbook review, or legal due diligence.
Reports cost $39 per tail number. If a report for the same N-number was generated within the last 30 days, we serve the cached copy at no additional charge. Refund requests are handled case-by-case — contact support@tailreport.com within 7 days of purchase.
We aggregate FAA registry, NTSB, SDR, and AD data from public sources. Data may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors originating from source systems. TailReport makes no warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
The mechanic matching feature is an early-access waitlist. Submitting a request does not guarantee a match or inspection appointment. No payment is collected for mechanic match requests at this time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TailReport's total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the report in question.
